Profile Extrusion

We produce IC tubes, air conditioning gaskets, vinyl tubes and other profile products using profile extrusion process for industries such as semiconductor and consumer electrical and electronics. We are capable of working with a broad range of materials including PVC, PETG, PS Clear and PP.

Profile extrusion comprises primary and secondary processes. In the primary process, precision tubes or profiles are manufactured. In the secondary process, the profiles undergo finishing processes such as printing, antistatic dipping, pin insertion and packing.

In the primary process, the raw material in pellet form is loaded into the extruder for kneading and melting before it is extruded through a heated die which forms the molten plastic into the required shape and dimension. The solidified tube is slowly pulled out through the cooling tanks by a pulling device for a subsequent cutting process which cuts the tubes into pre-determined lengths. Holes are also punched at both ends of the tubes for pin insertions if needed.

The secondary process involves printing product information onto the tube using an offline printing process (silk screen printing). The tube can also be coated with antistatic chemicals for ESD properties. Pins or stoppers are then inserted. The finished product is inspected and packed for delivery.

Our profile extrusion service includes fully customized design with tool building capability to meet your requirements.
